Teaching Kids To Swim Donation

Did you know that swimming is one of the best exercise? I love swimming and so does my son. I know that most of the kids loves to go swimming especially at the pool. During summer time most of the swimming pools around us are always full, everybody wants to be in the water to have that refreshing feeling and cooling effect of the water. It is very important that we teach our children how to swim, so we do not have to worry about them drowning in the pool. A swimming pool can be very dangerous, especially for a child. I read an article about it saying that every year nearly 300 children under the age of 5 drown in swimming pools, and it is 98% of the time home or at a family members house. More than 2,000 are treated in the hospital for submersion injuries. That is why it is a must that we teach our children how to swim and supervise them while they are swimming.

Did you know that Generational Equity in conjunction with both MidwestSportsFans.Com and DallasSportsFans.Com provided money to a YMCA delivered swimming program that literally went to the apartment complexes of those children whose parents have a low income and cannot afford to send their children to a swimming classes. They gave an 8 weeks of swimming lessons to assure the children had the basic survival skills in the water.I think what they did is really great. Giving free swimming lessons to the children who cannot afford it is really a good deed. We all know how children loves to go swimming and learning how to swim is really important so they can be safe while they are enjoying the water.

Thanks to those people who did the good gesture! God Bless Y'all!
