Moving Trends In America

As a military wife, I am not new to moving anymore but sometimes it gets really tiring.

Did you know that 15 percent of America's population moves every year. In 2010, 6.7 millions household moved around the Unites States? In 2007-2008 34 million people moved and was recorded the lowest since the year 1959-1960. If I were to choose, I would rather stay in my hometown, I would really love to settle in my hometown but there are just so many reasons why my family and I cannot do it. Anyway, 37 percent of Americans chooses to stay in their hometown and 40 percent have to move because of their jobs (Like, we do!)

On another note, moving and packing is really stressful, thank Goodness there are companies who are offering these kind of business to help you out. If you want to learn more about relocation trends and facts about moving in the United States, I would suggest that you check either of these web sites http://www.elitemovinglabor.com/blog/tag/82-relocation-trends or http://www.atlasvanlines.com/news/2013/0001/where-is-america-moving-atlas-van-lines-announces-2012-migration-trends/ as soon as you can.

Thank you for visiting my blog site today, hope to see you all again later!

Tips For Moving And Packing

Moving is one of the hardest and most stressful thing to do, trust me, I know how it goes because I have been there and done that so many times. Being married to a military man, moving is a big part of our lives. As a military wife, I did not know that there is a season for moving because we constantly move whether to a new place or a new city. Moving season usually happens between June and September and during those times, moving companies charges more than usual.

When you are planning on moving, make sure that you have an accurate itemization of your things being moved. You must know that all moving companies are recommended to offer liability coverage for the things that they transit.

How To Resolve An Addicting Habit

No matter the addiction -- drugs, gambling, shopping, smoking, alcohol or more -- people who want to kick their bad habits in the new year might find help with these following tips;

*Seek help and create a support network. Get input, advice and support from peers as well as professionals. Start with your doctor or a community mental health center for advice, a plan and -- if necessary -- medication to help with the break. Ask family, friends and co-workers for encouragement and backup.

*Set a quit date. Some people find it helpful to choose a significant date -- a birthday or anniversary, perhaps.

*Change your environment. Removing reminders and temptations from your home and workplace can make the break easier. For example, ridding the home of alcohol, bottle openers and wine or drink glasses might help a person trying to stop drinking. Don't let others bring reminders into the home. And, if necessary, break relations with people who enable your condition.

*Learn new skills and activities. Find something to replace the addiction and help conquer urges. Many people find that exercise is a good substitute activity to help fight temptation.

*Review your past attempts at quitting. Note what worked, what didn't and what might have led to falling back into old habits. Then, make appropriate changes.

How To Clean A DVD

My son keeps on messing with his DVD's,so if it is not scratched it will be so dirty and sometimes it is not working properly or the movies keep on jumping.Sometimes it will just stop in the middle of the movie and my husband said that it might be dirty and that is the reason why it is not working properly.Do you know how to clean your DVD?Well,if you don't you do not have to worry because I am going to share some tips that I have found online.To clean a DVD,you must use a soft dry cloth that produces no lint.Second,you have to clean the bottom side of the DVD with straight strokes from the DVD's center to the outer rim only.Never clean the DVD with circular movements.For stubborn dirt,you must use a solution of water with a little bit of detergent,wring out the cloth and clean the DVD as I have said above.Use another dry cloth to dry.Don't use any cleaning liquid other tan mild dish detergent.I hope these tips will help you when it comes to cleaning your DVD.Have a nice day to you all!
