Broken Faucet Pipe

I would really like to take a shower but I just can't do it right now since this guy is fixing a broken faucet pipe or what ever it's called, so the water needed to be off.

Having a house is really nice but it is expensive. When something breaks or needs to get fixed, we gotta pay it out of our pocket unlike when we were in the apartment we just had to report it to the office and they will fix whatever.

Christmas Lights For All To See

We tend to spend the last two weeks leading up to Christmas traveling our neighborhood, and the many surrounding neighborhoods, looking at everyone's Christmas lights and decorations. This is a fun activity for our family of three little girls. Their enjoyment comes from seeing the lights, the nativity sets, and the Christmas music we listen to along the way.

The girls get excited when they find out that we are going to spend the night cruising around looking at christmas lights. It is nice that evening comes a little earlier this time of year and we can get an early headstart. We recommend setting the home alarm system from Security Choice before setting out to see the Christmas lights and decorations. It is important to keep all those Christmas presents safe! We are usually back in plenty of time for the girls to keep to their bedtime schedule. If we are really feeling adventurous, we let the girls wear their pajamas during the ride. They really like this!

We have some local businesses that create huge attractions which enable people to drive through miniature forests and villages that are lit up with thousands of lights. The girls love the animated lights such as toy soldiers marching or the train that goes down the track. This is a simple enjoyment we do to make Christmas as special as possible.

Last Minute Shopping

My family and I are going to Corpus Christi this afternoon. We are going to spend our Christmas holidays right there with my husband's family. My son is really excited ever since my husband told him that we are going to his Grandma's house. I just finished packing our staff so I have to run to the store and do some shopping.

Going The Distance

I am watching the movie Going The Distance while packing clothes for our trip to Corpus Christi. The movie is about Erin (Drew Barrymore) and Garret (Justin Long) who striked sparks for a summer fling in New York City but neither expects it to last once Erin heads home to San Francisco and Garret remains behin for his Big Apple Job. But after six increasingly romantic weeks, neither is sure they want it to end. Makes You Use Your Noggin

One of my favorite children's channels on television is Noggin. I love the educational programming and they have things that are relevant and fun for kids to watch. A lot of their programs are interactive so it is not unusual to hear the kids talking and yelling right along with the characters on the television.

My husband was getting stationed in a new area and I was afraid that because we would be forced to change cable providers that we might not get Noggin anymore. After doing some research we found that going with Direct TV Expert would be the best choice for us as far as choice and programming. The installation was quick and easy and they have all of the channels that we want. I love our new satellite provider because the pictures are clear and the connection is reliable and most of all the price is right.

I even have time to watch a few shows for myself but for some reason it seems like I always end up watching children's television. Maybe it is just out of habit. I like having the choice to watch any channels that I want. There are also some programming that I have never heard of. There are some new shows coming out on Noggin that the kids and I are anxious to see. I am definitely looking forward to it.

Starving While Working

I am starving to death now and I am still working. I really want to eat right now but I am waiting for my husband to come home. He just called me and told me that he will be on his way home when he is done with what he is doing.

Exhausted and Sleepy

Dinner At Ryan's

My husband asked me if we can eat at Ryan's for dinner, I said yes! I am kind of tired from work so I am too lazy to cook. I love eating at Ryan's and I am missing their dinner rolls.

Christmas Traveling

This year, my wife Tracy and I are going to do something we haven't done in a long time: take a road trip. Christmas is coming up, and that means our family is going to be getting together, once again. For the past five years, my family has gathered at my place in the Tallahassee area, but this year my oldest son Henry wants to host the annual Christmas party at his new place in Vermont. My three sons all live in New England, so that's where we plan to meet. I never thought that my family would all move out of the south, but they've all found great jobs up that way. I'm really proud of them.

Tracy and I decided to drive, instead of fly. We plan on taking some time to ourselves and do some sightseeing several days before we meet with our boys. It's going to be a great experience. I know it. My wife and I went to buy a few things to prepare for the northern winter. I also got myself a pair of MiracleEar digital hearing aids. Our trip is going to be quite and adventure and I think we're ready.

Loving My New Job

I am really loving my new job, some days may not be too perfect but hey everything is going great. I really love my co-workers, they are so great, very helpful and easy to be with. My new job makes me exhausted most of the time but seeing those kids smiling melts my heart and makes me want to work harder.

Christmas Tree Shopping with the Family

Christmas Tree Shopping is one of my favorite activities that I get to do with my husband and family in the Christmas Season. We get a live tree, and since we live in Florida we have to wait until they're brought down from Michigan or Canada. Typically, two or three weekends before Christmas we go down to the beach and pick out our tree. This may sound strange, but they deliver the trees at the far end of south beach. Right before my husband and I set out to get the tree, we set the home security alarm from www.Securitychoice.com/ as always. The kids are grown, so we go out the weekend that the trees arrive, so that they are fresh and there is a good selection to choose from.

We live in Florida because we don't like the cold and the snow, but we love the holidays! As soon as we get the tree in the house and it into some sugar water, we begin to decorate. Years ago we decided that we would rather have a live tree than an artificial one, for a couple of reasons. The first reason is because a live tree has an evergreen smell that fills up the whole house, and secondly, that just makes it feel more like Christmas.

In Pain

I was totally fine after I got out from my job but I have been in pain after taking a nap this afternoon. Right now, I am feeling like I am going to have a fever or something. I am waiting for hubby to come home from the gym so he can give me a massage. I am about to take advil in a minute and hopefully the pain will go away.
