Promotion To Corporal

Yesterday my husband was promoted to a Corporal.Like anything in life it has its ups and downs.The rank of Corporal comes with no pay raise of what he was getting paid already,but now he is held to a higher standard and is evaluated and is becoming responsible of soldiers.This is going to be another stepping stone and step closer for him of becoming a Sergeant.He must demonstrate he has the leadership abilities to lead soldiers in both garrison (peace time) and combat.I am proud of him cause he has obviously displayed to his unit that he has the potential to be a Sergeant.
