2014 World Series Champion

I became a fan of baseball when my son started playing it. I admit, I didn't really know a lot of baseball but I have been learning since my son started playing.

Anyway, I know it might be too late but I have to share about 2014 World Series Champion, the San Francisco Giants. It's their 3rd title in 5 season.

Redskins vs. Cowboys

Tonight's game between Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys was really intense. Both teams showed and gave their best for tonight's game. Tony Romo got injured during the 3rd quarter but came back around 4th quarter.

Redskins vs. Cowboys ended up having an OT, Redskins scored 3 points which made them the winner for tonight's game. My husband blamed it on Tony Romo, he said Tony Romo couldn't play well under pressure. 

Anyway, the Dallas Cowboys has been doing really great, too bad they lost tonight's game to the underdog team, the Washington Redskins.

Temple's 8th St. Patrick's Fun Run/Walk Marathon

My husband and I were really so proud of our son when he decided to join Temple's 8th St. Patrick's Fun Run/Walk Marathon last Saturday in Temple, Texas. It was his first time to do a 5k marathon and we are really so excited and happy for him. I would admit that I was really nervous because he has never did it before and it is his first time to do something on his own.  I was really hesitant when my husband told me that our boy wanted to join the marathon and he was excited about it, how could I say no?

Anyway, my love finished his first 5k run/walk marathon in less than 40 minutes, I am not a runner so I do not know if that was fast enough or not, nevertheless, my husband and I are really so proud of him. A lot of people were telling us that he did really great, especially for a first timer and he's only 8 years old! :-)

On another note, my little love cannot wait for his next marathon and so my husband and I!

First Week Of NFL's Regular Season

My husband is really happy because Football Season is here. Right now, we are watching the game of Houston Texans vs. San Diego Chargers, both teams currently have 7 points. My husband is a 49ers fan, yesterday was their first game against the Green Bay Packers which they defeated by 6 points. The Dallas Cowboys also won against the New York Giants.

I am sure my husband is not the only one who is very excited and happy that the Football Season is here.

Bike Rack

My husband and I were talking about buying bikes when he get back from his deployment. We really want to live a healthy life, that is why we are going to watch what we eat and work out together.

Anyway, I am planning on surprising my husband on our 7th wedding anniversary next month, I am thinking on buying him a bike and a bike rack as gifts for our wedding anniversary, I am sure he would really love it.

Good Game On A Bad Weather

I was really hesitant to take my son to his baseball game this afternoon due to the weather but I am glad I did because my son was really excited for their game. It was too windy when the game started and the rain poured in the middle of the game, I really felt bad for the kids but it didn't look like the rain or the wind bothered them at all, and it seems like they were all having fun playing under the rain.

After the game I didn't even bother asking if my son's team won or lost because the rain started to get heavy and the wind was really getting bad, so we had to leave in a hurry since we still have to get some groceries. I am just really glad that my son had a good time playing baseball today despite the weather we've got today.

2010 NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup Predictions

The 2010 NASCAR season has been a roller coaster ride for some teams. When DirecTV let me try their satellite TV pay per view feature for free, I made sure I recorded most of the races this season. History has been made with Jamie McMurray becoming the 3rd driver in NASCAR history to win the Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400 in the same season. Kyle Busch also made history by becoming the first driver to win the Nationwide, Camping World Truck and Sprint Cup series Bristol races in the same weekend.

2 drivers are already locked in. Kevin Harvick and Jeff Gordon. Kyle Busch just has to start the next race at Atlanta and he is in. From the 4th position all the way back to the 21st position can fight it out for the 10 spots left in the top 12. Jamie McMurray is currently 100 points back of Clint Bowyer in the fight for the 12th spot. McMurray has won 2 races and I think he will get the last spot. Mark Martin is 1 point behind McMurray, but I think McMurray has the advantage and momentum throughout these last 2 races. The rest of the top 12 have almost been decided.

The drivers I see making the top 12 are Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, Tony Stewart, Jeff Burton, Matt Kenseth, Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch, Greg Biffle and Jamie McMurray. Sorry Clint Bowyer and Mark Martin fans, but I don't think they can stop McMurray's run.

Watching Football

I am watching football with my husband right now. The teams playing are Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets. Baltimore Ravens are leading with one point but the game is not over yet.

My husband really love watching football, well, I guess most of the people here in the United States loves football. I really never knew/understood what football is until I got here in the States. Football is really big here especially the Super Bowl.

This year's Super Bowl will be held in Dallas. I would really like to take my husband there because I know how much he loves football but I don't know if I can afford it though :( Well, let's just wait and see. Last year's Super Bowl Championship happened on his birthday.

My Absolute Favorite Thing about the World Cup

Pacquiao-Clottey Fight

My family and I watched Manny Pacquiao and Joshua Clottey's fight in Arlington,Texas last Saturday. Manny Pacquiao won the fight over Joshua Clottey but there are so many people that were complaining about the game, they said it was a boring fight. I would say that it was really a boring fight because Joshua Clottey was covering his face all the time. It looked like it was a one sided fight, Manny Pacquiao was the only one who kept throwing punches. Anyway, I would say it was a good one because Manny Pacquiao won, he brought another victory to the Philippines. Congrats Manny,thank you and we're so proud of you!
